Shelter solutions for refugees

Lifeshelter is an award-winning and sustainable solution, which serves as an alternative to the common tents you will find in e.g. refugee camps.

The project is an initiative to develop a better alternative to the typically used refugee tent, which will be able compete on price and production capacity, in the establishment of grand refugee camps within the 6 months defined as the “Emergency” phase.

In its design, the solution will be based on EverShelter’s unique design system. It builds on the experience, that a series of similarly curved insulation panels can form a strong, self-supporting construction.

Life shelters are partially produced by local Africans. It creates jobs in the local area and at the same time, makes the product financially accessible.
