The EU is stressing the potential of Kenya and Tanzania as two key emerging markets in Africa by organizing the first ever EU Business Forums in the two countries.
Together with fellow EU countries, Denmark is supporting this initiative to increase trade and investment. In connection with the forums, Denmark, the Netherlands, and local Kenyan partners are organizing a 1-day Circular Economy Expo showcasing international and local solutions.
EU-Kenya Business Forum aims to foster European trade & investment in Kenya by highlighting economic opportunities, whilst discussing areas for improvements.
EU-Tanzania Business Forum aims to support strong inclusive and sustainable growth by accelerating the green transition, the digital transformation, and decent jobs creation.
The Forums will gather investors, business support organizations, financial institutions and public officials from the EU, as well as Kenyan & Tanzanian sides to discuss business, trade & investment opportunities, and challenges in concrete terms. The Forums will also offer a platform for direct interaction between companies (B2B), policy makers (B2G) and between Financing Institutions (B2F).
