We have offices in Aalborg and Copenhagen, Denmark, and Kampala, Uganda.
We have many years of practical and research-based knowledge and experience with innovation, business development, funding, and creating partnerships – in Denmark and in African countries.

Henrik Anker-Ladefoged
CEO
Henrik Anker-Ladefoged has been working with agricultural projects in Africa, Eastern Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East since 1985.
His experience covers project planning and implementation, including preparation of production- and business plans, market surveys and marketing, financial analysis, and staff administration.
He has been working as a consultant for both the private as well as the public sector. As an investor, he has hands-on experience and an extensive network in DK and East Africa.

Thomas Augustinus
Program Manager
Thomas Augustinus has worked for more than 10 years with international development assistance and business development.
He has a broad experience in natural resource management, large infrastructure projects (hydro-power) as well as the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the context of developing countries.
Thomas also has experience as a member of the Board of Directors of a charity foundation, CARE-Denmark as well as several Danish companies.

John Magnay
A2i Representative East Africa
John Magnay has over 40 years of experience across Africa in both the private sector and development, supporting agriculture, agro-processing, alternative energy, and agricultural finance.
He brings a wide database of contacts and practical solutions to regional market entry and engagement, recognizing the needs of developing and competitive markets.

Olav Jull Sørensen
Senior Research Coordinator
Olav Jull Sørensen has an educational background in business economics and marketing from Aarhus School of Business and the University of Wisconsin, USA. He established the Cand.Merc. degree in International Business in 1984 under the auspices of Aalborg University and was head of the research group International Business Administration from 1984 to 2014.

Marianne Andersen
PR and Communications
Marianne Andersen is an expert in PR and communication with over 17 years of experience from Danish and international business. She ensures that our messages reach all relevant target groups through media such as the press, social media, newsletters and the website.
Marianne runs a PR agency, which focuses on NGOs, SDGs, ESG, greentech and cleantech.

Yango Azando
Program Manager
Yango Azando is responsible for providing technical and administrative leadership for the program team in East Africa. Before this role, he worked with the Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (Nairobi) and the Madhvani Group, providing leadership through an inclusive systems approach to enterprise development, agribusiness incubation/acceleration, skills development, youth and women job creation, access to finance, value chain development, capacity/institution building, investment facilitation, and policy reforms.

Espoir Serugo
A2i Country Manager, Rwanda
Espoir Serugo has over 14 years of experience in project management and business development. His expertise spans agriculture, renewable energy, circular economy, and financial inclusion. Espoir holds a Master’s degree in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor’s in Agriculture. With strong local networks, he understands Rwanda’s regulatory and investment landscape, based in Kigali.

Onesmo Kenneth
A2i Country Representative, TZ
Kenneth Onesmo is an economist with 18 years of work in the agricultural sector in Tanzania. He worked in the horticultural industry before becoming an independent consultant in 2012. He has worked for the public sector, donors, and private SMEs. His areas of expertise include project design and management, market intelligence, and business plan development. His office, close to the center of Dar es Salaam, is available for strategic A2i members during short-term stays in Tanzania.

Nyakatura is a seasoned executive with an extensive track record in development finance and regional capital markets, specializing in driving transformative change through strategic investment and system building. With a career spanning over 19 years, William has consistently demonstrated expertise in fostering strategic relationships with local and foreign investors, building robust market linkages, and leading high-impact initiatives.

Ole Stein has worked with Access2innovation for many years. He is an expert in building business in Africa, especially in the energy sector. He also knows all about the financial management of projects.

Eunice Kutamukya

Ms. Eunice Kutamukya is a grants and finance professional with over six years of experience in financial management, donor-funded programs, and compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Makerere University and is an associate graduate of the Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (CPA), with a strong commitment to accountability and results-driven performance.

Dorothy Nyakato

Dorothy Nyakato is a finance and tax advisory professional with over three years of experience in financial management, tax compliance, and business advisory services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business studies with education, specializing in economics and entrepreneurship, from Kyambogo University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
