Access2innovation’s General Assembly in 2024 marked one more collective moment in the organization and network’s journey, highlighting its commitment to support its members to drive sustainable development through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.
The Access2innovation General Assembly held on the 24th of April 2024 showcased a remarkable year of membership growth, innovation, and strategic development. Led by Chairperson Henrik Wollesen and CEO Karin Elisabeth Lind, the assembly highlighted the organization’s achievements in 2023 and unveiled our ambitious new strategy aimed at fostering partnerships for shared growth in Africa. In addition the new board was elected.
- Membership Growth: Access2innovation saw a substantial increase in its membership base, with 58 members comprising 31 strategic members and 27 network members, demonstrating a growing commitment to the organization’s mission.
- Events: The organization hosted 14 impactful events, including 11 A2i Talks focusing on business and development in Africa, as well as larger events including the Partnership Day 2023 emphasizing Danish business opportunities on the African markets, an Impact Financing pitch event; and a capacity development webinar focusing on partnerships between NGOs and companies.
