Henrik Anker-Ladefoged, a long-time key employee of the network organization Access2innovation, is appointed CEO at a time of increased focus on collaboration between Danish businesses and Africa.
Henrik Anker-Ladefoged, who has been part of Access2innovation for more than 10 years, will step in as the new CEO on September 1, 2024, in the Danish platform for innovative, sustainable, commercial solutions to the African growth markets.
Access2innovation offers Danish businesses access to partnerships with NGOs, investors, knowledge institutions, as well as financing, business understanding, and technical insight based on many years of experience with the African growth markets. Since 2007, Access2innovation has built and supported over 85 business partnerships between Danish and African companies, organizations, and educational institutions by offering networks, financing, and expertise in innovation and business development in Denmark and Africa.
Henrik Anker-Ladefoged has been a central part of Access2innovation since 2013. With over a decade of experience within the organization and a deep understanding of its mission and values, he is well-equipped to lead Access2innovation forward.

Henrik Anker-Ladefoged has held various roles in Access2innovation over the years, most recently as Program Manager, where he demonstrated strong leadership and strategic thinking. His appointment as CEO marks an exciting new phase for the organization, and the team looks forward to his vision and leadership.
The current CEO of Access2innovation, Karin Elisabeth Lind, will step down at the end of August as she seeks new challenges. She has played a crucial role in the organization’s success over the past two years, leaving it with a solid strategic foundation for the future.
“It has been an honor to lead Access2innovation and work with such a dedicated team,” says Karin Elisabeth Lind. “I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the organization under Henrik’s leadership.”
