Visit together with FOSS at a feed factory.

During a packed three-day delegation visit to Nairobi from 10–14 November, Access2innovation helped facilitate a programme filled with meetings, talks, and local encounters, showcasing the strong and growing collaboration between Kenyan and Danish food and agriculture companies.

“We had three amazing and packed days in Kenya with numerous meetings and talks promoting Danish Food and Agriculture in dynamic Nairobi,” says Jeppe Søndergaard Pedersen, International Chief Advisor, hos Danish Agriculture & Food Council, our co-organiser.

The delegation brought together Danbred, DACS, Cimbria, FOSS Analytics, Jimco, LINCO Incubator and Zealand Business College. According to Jeppe Søndergaard Pedersen, the group had “interesting talks, deals and cultural meetings” throughout the programme.

Great Potential

This was the fourth visit to Kenya, and Jeppe Søndergaard Pedersen notes that the continued engagement is paying off:

Delegation at the Danish Embassy.

“This fourth visit to Kenya shows that both Kenyan and Danish Agriculture and Food companies see great potential for further collaboration in the years to come – with a focus on producing more with less and making a more circular and sustainable economy.”

For Access2innovation, the visit illustrated once again the value of sustained collaboration and targeted meetings. With full schedules and productive exchanges, the Nairobi visit demonstrated that the partnership potential between Danish and Kenyan actors continues to grow.

“There are so many areas that Danish and Kenyan companies can benefit from cooperating. I see a huge potential for sales and contracts. We have only just started,” promises Jeppe Søndergaard Pedersen.
