Access2innovation’s new strategy is emphasizing the organization’s commitment to foster partnerships for inclusive growth in Africa.
The new strategy focuses on four strategic priority areas. With a clear vision, mission, and values, Access2innovation is now poised to make meaningful contributions to inclusive, green growth and sustainable development in Africa, as the Danish platform for innovative, sustainable, commercial solutions to African markets.
The new strategy establishes the following:
- Mission: The purpose is to facilitate and develop sustainable, commercial solutions and business models to growth markets in Africa. This Access2innovation will do by supporting the innovation eco-system and promoting market-based approaches through risk sharing, as well as by facilitating members’ participation in partnerships and projects, which strengthens African solutions with Danish expertise and reinforces Danish solutions with local knowledge.
- Vision: The organization envisions sustainable development and inclusive green growth created in equitable partnerships between organizations in Denmark and Africa.
- Values: Access2innovation is guided by five values: business orientation, sustainability, partnership focus, innovation, and localization, ensuring its actions align with the principles of societal and environmental sustainability.
The new strategy focuses on four strategic areas:
- Partnerships and Projects: Facilitating partnerships and implementing projects to strengthen business development, de-risk investments, and promote sustainable development and the green transition.
- Networks & Knowledge Sharing: Organizing community activities, facilitating learning and capacity development, and contributing to knowledge reports and assessments.
- Member Servicing: Providing strategic and operational support to members, facilitating business-to-business interactions, and promoting market access for African companies.
- Impact Financing: Mobilizing financing through project development, private investment, and blended finance mechanisms, with the goal of facilitating access to financing for members and partners.
With a clear mission, vision, values and strategy, Access2innovation is now poised to make meaningful contributions to inclusive growth and prosperity in Africa, as the Danish platform for innovative, sustainable, commercial solutions to African markets.
