On a cold day in November, a bus full of senior officials from the African and South American food sector visited our member, Danish pioneer in sustainable pasteurization, Lyras A/S in Aalborg. The visit was arranged in cooperation with Københavns Universitet – University of Copenhagen, Ulrik Plenge Jacobsen, TechSolution, Hanne Ingmer, Per Østergaard, JESA FARM DAIRY, Heifer International, Pearl Dairy and Lyras A/S.
During the day, the new technology, raslysation, was explained and demonstrated, as a less energy-consuming alternative to traditional pasteurization.
