At the Danish exhibition stand at the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, access2innovation is showcasing a series of good examples of cross-sector partnership solutions.
The solutions have all been developed for the relief aid sector, and the UN-summit is a unique opportunity to showcase the solutions to decision makers in the UN system.
Jacob Petersen from Danoffice IT is demonstrating a UAV for relief aid situations. Already during the first day of the summit, there have been a lot of inquiries as to how the drone can be used for relief aid, and several institutions are interested in testing the solution.
Peter Bysted from ICONO, who recently won a Danish Design Award for their child friendly latrine solution, sees the summit as a possibility of strengthening the network with important organisations in order to set up live tests of the latrine solution.
Mobile WiFi developer BlueTown is also focusing on talking to UN institutions but also stresses the benefits of building their network with other companies as well as representatives from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul continues until tonight.
