Danish green tech on the Kenyan market

on .

A new collaboration between access2innovation and the Climate Innovation Center in Kenya presents new opportunities for both Danish and Kenyan companies.

The Climate Innovation Center in Nairobi works with coupling entrepreneurs, companies and universities in order to create innovative solutions within water and sanitation, sustainable energy and agro business.

The need for energy in Kenya is massive, and Danish companies may have the right technical solutions. However, to most companies, Africa may seem a bit too exotic and distant, which means that market opportunities are overlooked.

In a new collaboration between the Climate Innovation Center and access2innovation, the aim is to screen the market possibilities in CIC’s 78 project and bring a number of Danish companies to Africa to work with local companies, academia and entrepreneurs.

The initiative will be running until the end of 2014.
