Access2innovation network partner DIBD (the International Business Development branch at Confederation of Danish Industry) will be arranging a round-trip for Danish companies to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in late November.
Focusing on future business ventures within sustainable energy, participating companies will be introduced to a growing market with a total of 131 million people. The average BNP growth in the three countries is between five and eight per cent over the last ten years.
Energy and energy efficiency is one of the key resources behind the growth.
Furthermore, UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Organization) has named 2012 International Year for Sustainable Energy for All. The UN supports the idea that businesses must be a driving force in creating change for people through profit-driven initiatives.
The Danida Business Partnerships Programme will be covering up to 75 percent of the participating companies’ expenses concerning the trip.
