The final programme for the two day conference ”SAVE THE WORLD. MAKE MONEY. REPEAT.” has announced. It unveils an impressive line-up of speakers from the world of academia, private companies, civil society organisations and authorities.
Among the speakers are the Danish minister of foreign affairs, Kristian Jensen, Andreas Kamm, secretary general of the Danish Refugee Council, Kristoffer Gandrup-Marino, head of innovation at UNICEF, Thomas Bustrup from Confederation of Danish Industry and Kristian Sloth Petersen from the Bestseller Foundation.
The two day-conference will be focusing on cross-sector partnership innovation for the new emerging markets in East Africa as well as innovating to the relief aid market,
With a serious line-up of experts, the event presents the opportunity to partake in a number of different workshops and features a series of brand new business opportunities that have been identified by access2innovation and the association partners.
“As a scientist, the conference gives us the opportunity to bring state-of-the-art knowledge and technologies to the private sector and humanitarian organisations and actively participate in developing new methods and products meeting demands with the humanitarian sector,” says Peter Kjær Mackie, head of the Disaster Management Master's program at the University of Copenhagen.
Senior policy advisor at Confederation of Danish Industry, Marie Gad, says:“Our analysis show that Danish businesses have great possibilities for reaching new emerging markets in developing countries. This conference is a platform for insights into concrete business opportunities and access to Danish and international partners that can ensure the development from ideas to commercial solutions.”
The conference takes place in Aalborg on August 23rd-24th.
