Major congress on sustainable access to water and sanitation in Africa

on .

From February 22nd – 25th, the African Water Association (AfWA) will be hosting a major conference and exhibition on sustainable access to water and sanitation in Africa.

The event takes place in Nairobi, Kenya and feature keynote speakers that include Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta as well as a number of decision makers within water and sanitation in Kenya.

The goal of the conference is to identify, showcase and debate practical experiences and examples of service provision in developing countries that work at a large scale. Thus, the congress will be focusing explicitly on solutions rather than diagnosing challenges and problems that are already well documented.

The main topics of the conference are capacity development, service delivery, urban sanitation and urban water management.
