At the access2innovation workshop in Aalborg on April 30th, around 30 Danish companies had gathered to learn more about upcoming business potentials in East Africa.
Among the speakers were CEOs Carsten Tilm from CO2Light and Lars Bendix from Farm Mountain coffee – both of whom were sharing their insights on the ‘do’s and ‘don’t’s when establishing a business in East Africa.
Head of the access2innovation secretariat, Jacob Ravn said that access2innovation will be expanding the network’s activities in East Africa.
Project managers Ole Stein and Henrik Anker-Ladefoged had just returned from an exploratory trip to Kenya and Tanzania and presented an abundance of very interesting business potentials – spanning the fields of energy, agri business, aqua culture, logistics, water and sanitation.
Next steps for interested companies include a Go’N’See trip to Kenya and Tanzania focusing on aqua culture by the end of May, a similar trip with other focus areas in June. More information will be available at our website later.
