Access2innovation has been conducting a press trip to Uganda from June 21st – 26th.
The aim was to showcase some of the working partnerships for Danish journalists.
The delegation consisted of journalists from the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), the national newspaper Politiken as well as the Aalborg-based newspaper Nordjyske and visited the chicken incubator project in Budaka, the micro-grid in Kayanja, One Stop Shop and Pay- E-Safe in Kasese and Sun Power Africa in Kampala.
Furthermore, access2innovation got to meet with Ugandan minister of Defense, Crispus Kiyonga in Kasese to advocate the use of mini grids and one stop shops - and provide an exclusive interview opportunity for the Danish journalists.
