The mayor of Kasese, Godfrey Kabbayanga, will be visiting northern Denmark in the coming week.
The visit is part of the collaboration between the Danish municipalities Aalborg and Frederikshavn, Aalborg University and the Kasese District that was established through access2innovation last year.
Kabbayanga will be signing an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Danish partners as well as visiting Danish green energy companies who will potentially participate in fulfilling Kasese’s ambitions of becoming a climate SMART district.
Kasese is working with WWF and a list of local stakeholders and international partners to make the district CO2 neutral by 2030.
On Friday September 6th, mayor Kabbayanga will be among the keynote speakers at the access2innovation event on building partnership businesses.
