Back from business maturation trip to Vietnam

Access2innovation and Confederation of Danish Industry representatives have returned from a business maturation trip to Vietnam together with lead company KomTek Miljø.
 
The aim was to further develop a sustainable waste management business idea in the country.
The trip is part of the Waste-to-Energy project that is supported by access2innovation, and which also has received support from the Danida Business Partnerships facility.
 
The focus to the trip was to refine a business and technology concept dealing with municipal solid waste management leading to bio-fertilizer and biogas production, and is carried out in partnership with the Vietnamese companies URENCO Son Tay and Vitec.
 
Head of Development Bjarne Larsen from KomTek Miljø took part in the delegation as well as support and coordination staff Christian Kruse and Peter Marinus Jensen, also from KomTek.
 
The visit took place over the course of two weeks and entailed visits and discussions with the Vietnamese partners as well as public authorities and in-country experts within solid waste management, bio-fertilizer and renewable energy.
 
It also included aimed at a market study of potential sales of co-products resulting form improved solid waste management in Vietnam.
