Since 2008, access2innovation has been working with DanChurchAid to develop a portable sustainable energy solution for mine clearing camps.
A partnership of companies, engineers at Aalborg University and NGOs have developed a prototype – the Green Generator.
This takes the project to a new level. The prototype needs field-testing, adaption and commercialisation in order to evolve into a commercially sound venture.
This means that the venture is open to competent new companies that wish to be a part of the process.
Lately, the Danish Red Cross has expressed its interest in the generator, heightening the attention on sustainable energy solutions in the World’s humanitarian focal points.
