CARE International is one of the World’s most renowned development and humanitarian organizations. It is active in more than 70 countries worldwide. One of CARE’s core values is strengthening the capacity for self-help when assisting the poorest communities in the World. CARE has a strong focus on promoting innovative solutions.

CARE Denmark enters the Access2Innovation partnership through its special area of expertise within natural resource management and climate change. CARE Denmark is noteworthy in being designated as a Center of Expertise and a lead member in CARE International’s Poverty, Environment and Climate Change Network (PECCN).

CARE Denmark and CARE International work together closely in Uganda in Access2Innovation, providing a focal point for developing renewable energy solutions towards recognized needs and challenges in this setting.
