New funding opportunities, new business cases, new benefit programmes and access to a broad network of companies and organisations that work with business innovation in Africa. The access2innovation network turns into a membership association with a range of offers that are hard to refuse.
Since 2007, access2innovation has initiated 30 commercially driven partnerships that target needs within relief and development aid.
With a roster like that, access2innovation is now aiming to scale up the activities over the coming years.
As the network organisation transforms into an association, members from all over Denmark will gain access to access2innovation.
“By changing our setup, we are making ourselves more agile and expanding our services to be aimed at nationwide partnerships rather than partnerships that were open exclusively to companies in Northern Jutland. It really is a big step up,” says Jacob Ravn, who will continue his work as CEO of the new association.
The access2innovation association has been founded in collaboration between the universities in Aalborg and Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School, Red Cross, WWF, Confederation of Danish Industry, Aalborg Municipality, the North Jutland Growth House and Danish Water Forum.
The goal of access2innovation remains unchanged. The association is still a platform for innovative partnerships that work with sustainable solutions for emerging markets within the fields of energy, food security, relief aid and water and sanitation.
